The Jam Factory

          Because there are so many tourist attractions in Bangkok if it is someplace good, it need to be recognized if it doesn't, it will be a waste of an opportunity to introduce the good tourist attraction places. We, the customer of that place, wish to see this JamFactory stand out more. This place has many great features about being the cultural center so we feel like we need more and people coming to this place. Good places deserve good reviews and more good customers. Since it's not too far from our university so we can easily go there and gather the information we need.  It is also quite an underrated attraction. It needs more attention because it is located near Iconsiam which is one of the most popular places so this is why we want to review it. By Pongpana Tanjindaprateep

 Located at the front of the facility which also the same building with  Bookstore and Decoration shop. It's not large in size since it can fit only about 15 people but when we were there the cafe seem to crowd with people use this place relaxing or doing their work.  Since it's in the same building with the bookstore you can buy the book here and bring it to read while you enjoy your drink.  By Thanaphat Aphichaipongpaisal

                                        The old main factory building is now the architecture gallery which have many architecture model of several building in there but sadly it was closed when we going there so here some picture we can take from outside of the gallery Seem to be Thai style house Some building complex Some weird design here They did use the look of the factory building and add the glass in to make some contrast between Factory and Gallery Don't mind the reflection By Thanaphat Aphichaipongpaisal

  Restaurant             The restaurant is called “The Never Ending Summer” restaurant. It’s one of the facility placed in The Jam Factory. Before this facility is just an old abandoned warehouse for the factory, but it has been renovated later by the architect. Environment of this restaurant made with the mind of nostalgic feeling of the industrial era. You can choose to eat inside the warehouse or outside to enjoy the atmosphere near the Chao Pra Ya River. The chair and table are arrange in orderly position.            Other thing to mention is we can see through the glass and inspect chef cook the food for us in the kitchen.   Bookstore        In the Jam Factory, there are the bookstore for you to purchase the book. So what made this bookstore different from other bookstore?           This bookstore is called “Candide Books”. Candide come from the name of a book about the philosophy novel written by France’s philosopher. Give you the idea and motto for the successful life. The owners of this bookstore pleased with this book and used this book as a name of this book store.            Inside of the store, you can find many book that are rarely found from other bookstore. Type of these book are mostly the philosophy book, art book or novel from the foreign country. Which made this store very exciting for the bookworm who like to read unique and interesting book to drop by. But don’t worry, for the normal person there are still a normal book and comic for you to buy and reading with your favorite tea at the café beside the bookstore. By Korranit Senaart

Food Review The food at the “The Never Ending Summer” restaurant are mostly Thai food. They have an appealing design to serve customer and make them amaze with how beautiful their dishes have been adjusted. Volume of their dish are on the average size compare to the cost of the dish. The cost of them for us student are pretty expensive in my opinion but for the tourist this won’t be any problem for them to pay for these wonderful dishes.           Overall taste of their Thai food is pretty unique from other restaurant especially their SIGNATURE dishes called “Kai Tai Nam”. It’s is one of our selected dish for our review.       “ Kai Tai Nam ” This dish is one of their restaurant signature food. It’s cook by steamed chicken with the several Thai herb together. These method make the dish become aromatic and make the chicken look delicate to eat.           Flavor of the dish is fresh and herbal with the mix of Thai herbs make it a little bit spicy.          The Environment of the Jam Factory is very calming and cool. This place has been covered by tree and leaf and it is the windy location which is the perfect place to take a rest.         The Jam Factory has a lot of good places for taking pictures. There is a wall for taking pictures and you can also take pictures anywhere in this place.       The reason why the Jam Factory has a very cool feeling like the beach is because it is beside the river which is the great location to make the wind easily flow through the place and the pier itself is the perfect spot for taking the picture.              When you arrive, you will see the large wooden house with a glass panel wall. This is the main building of The Jam Factory which has the little museum, cafe and bookstore. There are also some three which is perfect for taking picture or to be the umbrella while walking           After walking into the deeper side of the Jam Factory you will find the building that shows the architecture of the building through the glasses panel but the building was closed due to maintenance so we can’t take an inside picture. But it is still the very good to take pictures even from the outside.           After walking into the inner of the Jam Factory you will see the building with the wooden sign and cover with the tree. It is the restaurant place for the Jam Factory. This place is cover with trees which give the very cool and calm feeling. By Supapol Kokratoke

             We travel from the Chang Pier nearby the University by express boat orange flag route which will send us to the ICONSIAM. The boat should take around 15 minutes to travel. You can also travel from other pier by using this method.             There are also alternative ways to access Jam Factory. One of them is using the new BTS Golden Line by taking the BTS and traveling to the Charoen Nakhon Station which will lead you into the front of the ICONSIAM.             After we get to the front of the ICONSIAM turn right and walk along the walkway until you find Klongsan Plaza on your right side. Walk into Klongsan Plaza the Jam Factory is inside of the Klongsan Plaza             When you see the first turning corner, turn left. You can also travel by arrive at Klongsan Pierre by take the ferry boat from Si Phraya Pier which you will arrive from the back alley.                    When you turn left you should see a sign that says “Personal Road.   The Jam Factory             The Jam Factory is the Old factory near Klong-San plaza   not far from Iconsiam  that was renovated into the new look for relaxing and attraction spot.                       There was restaurant, a gallery, a cafe, a decoration shop and a book store in The Jam Factory.         By surrounding with old building and still kept its own old factory building this place create an unique atmosphere for the visitor.        From the front gate look inside it'll give you a feeling of enter some old factory not the relaxing point or tourist attraction point. But When you walk in you'll be greeted by the decoration shop and the cafe. Unfortunate that when we go there to review this place the gallery hall was closed so we can't show you what's inside.
